Pics 1 and 5 in 'Our First Home' are my favourites from that series -which is a good series.

My favourite images of yours are the ones that feel very composed. Does that make sense? Where I imagine you behind the camera saying, "raise your hand," "open that curtain," or "hold still, don't move; I'm moving to a new angle." You know? Directing, I guess.

That's what pics 1 and 5, and that image of the guy with the dog, looked like to me -even if they were actually just "fluke" moments you captured.

I don't want to over-emphasixe this, but your eye reminds me of Antonioni's (forgive me, I don't know any photographers well enough to make a photographer comparison). You have, it seems to me, a similair way of using the framing of the shot to create patterns. And so I think your shots work best when it looks like you've given their composition the same kind of intricate framing and composition as he did.

I hope that helps. I really like the 'Our First Home' series because it had that kind of intentionality -whether real or imagined.
