this is a picture i took for a series i am working on. but i don't think i will be using it, so i thought i would post it on here. the series has taken a different direction than i first thought it would. but i am alright with it. it's going to be called 'our first home'.

Speaking of your first home, about 6 months ago I had a dream that you asked me to go house shopping with you in Regina. You were looking at buying a place that was 3 blocks away from my parents house. It was a three-story masterpiece, but it was crap and falling apart all over. Also, the backyard was overrun by rottweilers - dozens of them - so I counseled you not to buy it.
What an odd dream - and what an odd thing for me to be writing this to you six months after the fact. Oh well...

What would you say is the artistic vision behind your series?
i guess my original thoughts were to shoot jodi in and throughout our new house. just working with the natural light that the windows gave off. to be honest, that was it. i really wanted to stretch myself with natural light indoors. i'd never really done that before. i've never been one to use a flash all that much. yeah, i think that's it.
What a dream!!
