Unbreakable

So now that much of the chaos of moving is done for now, i have started to take photos again, and it feels good. These i took over christmas however. One of the new things i am trying this year, is taking a bunch of pictures that are connected...in either theme, lighting etc. it's quite the challenge. This july i will have my photography up at Remedy Cafe here in Edmonton. The pictures that i put up there are going to be some sort of series with my previous idea. All the pictures i put up will be connected in some way. I'll let you know how it goes. I started this morning, and i am feeling pretty good about it.
p.s. i watched the movie 'unbreakable' last night. what a remarkable film.

I'll be back

Right now is the busiest i think i have ever been. work, house, work, house. in other news, edmonton is getting 2 of my favourite musicians in march. the top picture is the Great Lake Swimmers, and the bottom is Bonnie Prince Billy. They are both playing at a local United Church which is cool. i am so very excited. they rock hard.

Congratulations

Look at them...they're just so damn cute. February 14th...
We got the keys to our house this afternoon. This is what we found inside...

- clothes in the dryer, including undies
- michael jordan slam dunking framed picture, still hanging
- other pictures still hanging, including a Mac Truck, flowers
- random book shelf in the middle of the living room
- canadian flags
- pieces of laminate flooring
- door hinges in a yogurt container
- smiley face clock
- random rugs
- wicker furniture (we will probably use this as patio furniture. after we clean it of course)
- a box on the kitchen floor
- vacuum from the 1930's
- tupperware
- toothpicks in a pepper shaker
- miniature plastic garbage can

anyway, there is even more stuff than this. we started a value village pile in the corner of the basement. feel free to add to it if you have anything.
